LLimited selection, extremely high quality Chinese green tea. There are only two Mt. Meng villages which make these teas. These two villages are the holders of the "beauty sticks" the favorite consort of a 13th century Emperor blessed with her beauty. This it has a hint of toastiness with a pleasant 'jammy-like' character. It is a steamed with handmade ringlets that appears pale yellow when infused. New shoots are painstakingly plucked during the end of March/Early April. These leaves are allowed to wither, slightly steamed, and then hand rolled. Following the rolling, the best leaves are selected and curled around a 'beauty stick', pressed flat and then dried in a special oven to lock-in the flavor and preserve the unique shape.

Mass Market teas typically have a 5-6% antioxidant level. This tea has a ultra high antioxidant level of 16.65%
